Founder

Ms. Helen Wade is the founder and CEO of Young Ladies of Tomorrow, Inc. Her life has been dedicated to personally providing opportunities for girls to blossom into healthy women. She has over 20 years experience in working with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice and foster care system. Ms. Wade has worked as a consultant with Child and Family Services, Progressive Life, and Boys Town as a therapeutic foster parent.

For more than 12 years, she has worked as a contractor with the Social Services Division of the District of Columbia Superior Court providing a youth development program to at-risk-girls. Ms. Wade also has served as a member of the Alternatives to Detention Sub-committee as well as the board member of the Sherwood Recreation Center. As the founder and owner of Helen and Company Beauty Salon, Ms. Wade has also proven herself as a savvy businesswoman. She oversees all aspects of a full service cosmetology/image consulting business.

Ms. Wade has made Young Ladies of Tomorrow a part of her life’s work to improve the lives of youth in Washington, D.C.
